01 The Digital Snack Play
Sell a low-ticket product that generates revenue AND feeds patients into your practice.
Most chiros post "10 Signs You Have Sciatica" content for free and wonder why nobody books. A digital snack flips this — you give away the strategy, sell the system, and the product itself becomes your best marketing tool.
02 Why This Works for Chiropractors
You have something 99% of digital product creators don't: real expertise and a real practice.
🎯 You Solve Real Problems
People are Googling "sciatica exercises that actually work" at 11pm. They don't want a blog post. They want a plan they can follow today. You can give them that.
💰 Low-Ticket = Low Risk
$12-17 is impulse-buy territory. Cheaper than a copay. But it qualifies the buyer — they've admitted they have the problem and they're willing to pay to fix it.
🔗 The Funnel Built In
The product IS the marketing. Someone buys the sciatica guide, follows the protocol, hits a wall at day 14, and the guide says: "If you're still at a 7/10, you need hands-on treatment." They book with you.
📈 Revenue From Day 1
Unlike "brand awareness" social media, a digital product generates actual revenue from the moment you start running ads. Your ad spend pays for itself.
The math: Sell 20 guides/month at $17 = $340. That covers your ad spend. Every local patient who books from the funnel is pure profit. And the guide sells to people statewide — not just your neighborhood.
03 What to Actually Sell
Not a generic PDF. A structured protocol with a result.
Product 1: "The 21-Day Sciatica Relief Protocol" — $17
The core offer. This is what you sell first.
What's inside:
- Day-by-day schedule (not random stretches — actual "do this Monday")
- 3 levels: flare-up / moderate / maintenance
- Video demos (you doing each move, 2-3 min each)
- Daily tracking sheet (pain level, what you did)
- Decision tree: "Still hurting at day 14? Here's why."
- Desk setup checklist + sleeping positions guide
Why someone pays $17:
- Structured (not random YouTube videos)
- Progressive (builds over 21 days)
- Specific to their condition
- Accountability (tracking sheet)
- From a real chiro they can actually see
Product 2: "The Neck & TMJ Reset" — $12
For desk workers, jaw clenchers, headache sufferers. 2-week protocol. Self-release techniques for TMJ. Ergonomic checklist. CTA to dry needling for accelerated results.
Product 3: "28-Day Mobility Reset" — $17-27
Broader audience (top of funnel). Daily mobility routine covering back, neck, hips, shoulders. Video library. This one targets the "I sit all day and everything hurts" crowd.
Start with Product 1. It's the most specific, solves the most painful problem, and has the clearest path to booking an appointment. Products 2 and 3 come after you've proven the model.
04 Content Buckets
Three buckets. That's it. No random treatment videos. No "happy Monday" posts.
🔬 "Does This Work?"
Authority + Education
Position yourself as the expert. Build trust. Get saves and shares.
- Myth busting
- Condition explainers
- Treatment demos (15-30 sec)
- Patient stories (with permission)
- Science snippets
→ 2x per week
🏋️ "Try This Right Now"
Value + Saves
Give actionable stuff people actually use. Drives shares and bookmarks.
- Quick stretches
- Morning routines
- "What NOT to do"
- Self-massage tricks
- Weekly challenges
→ 2x per week
😂 "Real Talk"
Personality + Relatability
Make yourself memorable. Build the human connection. Be funny.
- Office moments
- Relatable pain memes
- Patient Q&A
- Day in the life
- Hot takes
→ 1-2x per week
The third bucket is where you blow up. Educational content builds authority. Value content builds trust. But personality content is what gets shared. A funny Reel about "your back going out putting on socks" reaches 10x more people than a clinical explanation of disc herniation.
05 Post Types & Formats
Not all posts are equal. Here's what works and how much reach each format gets.
Reels / Short Video (15-60 sec)
Highest reach format on Instagram and Facebook. Show a treatment demo, a quick stretch, a day-in-the-life moment, or a myth bust. Film vertical, keep it tight, add captions.
Carousels (5-10 slides)
Swipeable educational content. "5 stretches for sciatica" with one stretch per slide, photos of you demonstrating. High save rate. Great for the "Try This" bucket.
Static Image + Caption
Single image with a strong caption. Works for hot takes, patient stories, before/after (with permission). Lower reach but higher engagement per impression.
Text-Over-Image / Quote Cards
"Your posture isn't the problem. Your 11 hours of sitting is." Quick to make, shareable, works for the "Real Talk" bucket. Use bold text on a clean background.
Stories (Daily)
Behind-the-scenes, polls, Q&A stickers, "this or that" games. Not for reach — for staying top of mind with people who already follow you. Post daily if possible.
Long-Form Video (2-5 min)
For YouTube or Facebook. Deep dives: "Everything you need to know about dry needling." Lower reach but builds serious authority. Repurpose clips as Reels.
06 Sample Week
Seven posts per week. That's the sweet spot for growth without burnout.
| Day | Bucket | Format | Example Post |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monday | 🔬 Authority | Reel | "No, dry needling isn't acupuncture. Here's the difference." (30 sec) |
| Tuesday | 🏋️ Value | Carousel | "3 moves if your sciatica is worse in the morning" (5 slides) |
| Wednesday | 🔬 Authority | Reel | Watch what happens when I needle this trigger point (20 sec) |
| Thursday | 😂 Personality | Reel | "When the patient says 'I barely did anything' and then describes moving a couch" |
| Friday | 🏋️ Value | Reel | "Try this weekend: 5-minute routine for low back tightness" |
| Saturday | 🏋️ Value | Static | "Stop doing this stretch if you have a herniated disc" (text + image) |
| Sunday | 😂 Personality | Story | Poll: "What's your back pain trigger? A) Sleeping B) Sitting C) Existing" |
Batch content weekly. Film 3-4 Reels in one session. Design carousels in Canva on Sunday. Post Stories daily from your phone. Don't try to create content every day — create once, schedule the rest.
07 How to Reach More People
Posting is only half the battle. Here's how to get your content in front of new eyes.
🔍 Hashtag Strategy
- Local: #LelandNC #WilmingtonNC #BrunswickCounty #SouthportNC
- Condition: #SciaticaRelief #DryNeedling #LowBackPain #TMJrelief #NeckPain
- Broad: #ChiropracticCare #MobilityWork #PainRelief #PhysicalTherapy
Use 5-8 per post. Mix local + condition + broad. Local hashtags have less competition — easier to rank.
🤝 Engagement Strategy
- Comment on local business posts (gyms, yoga studios, PT clinics)
- Reply to every comment on your posts within 1 hour
- DM people who engage with your content (not salesy — helpful)
- Collab with local fitness instructors for cross-promotion
- Share patient success stories (with permission) and tag them
📍 Google Business Profile
- Post 1x/week (repurpose from content calendar)
- Respond to every review within 24 hours
- Answer Q&A questions posted on your listing
- Add photos monthly (office, treatment rooms, you working)
- List ALL services with descriptions
📧 Email List
- Every digital product buyer = email subscriber
- Free lead magnet on your bio link (sciatica checklist)
- Weekly email: 1 tip + 1 CTA to book
- Use Mailchimp or ConvertKit free tier
- Email list = audience you own (unlike social followers)
08 The Ad Strategy
Facebook/Instagram ads that sell the digital product — not "book now" ads.
Why NOT Google Ads (Yet)
- Google Ads CPC for chiros: $15-35 per click
- $200/month = 6-13 clicks
- Without online booking, most clicks are wasted
- Save the $500 Google promo for when the funnel is proven
Why Facebook/Instagram First
- CPM: $8-15 (vs $25-45 on Google for local)
- $200/month = 13,000-25,000 impressions
- Conversion = email opt-in or product sale (works 24/7)
- Wide targeting (50mi+) = more people, cheaper clicks
- Retargeting built in
The Funnel
Ad Examples That Work
Ad 1: The Scroll-Stopper (Video, 15-30 sec)
"This muscle right here is why your sciatica won't go away." [shows needle going in, patient relaxes] "I've treated 200+ patients with sciatica. Here's what I wish they knew before their first visit." → Link to guide
Ad 2: The Relatable Pain (Static)
"You: I just slept wrong, it'll be fine. Also you: [can't turn head, walks like a robot, avoids sneezing] — 3 things making your neck pain worse. Free guide →"
Ad 3: The Social Proof (Before/After)
"She came in at a 9/10 pain level. Couldn't sit through her kid's soccer game. Week 4: back to running. Here's what dry needling actually does." → Link to guide
Wide targeting changes the game. Don't limit ads to 5-10 miles. Run statewide or 50mi+ radius. The digital product sells to anyone. The person in Raleigh who buys the guide funds your ad spend. The person in Southport who buys it books an appointment.
09 Phased Rollout
